Le mythe

Zu sehen ist eine Fotodokumentation der großen Rauminstallation "Der Mythos", die im Westfälischen Landesmuseum Münster aufgebaut war. Die Installation erinnert an Raumschiffe, die ja oft militärisch genutzt werden. Der Betrachter wird aufgefordert, in Gedanken im "Pilotensessel" Platz zu nehmen, sich von der militärischen Vorstellungswelt zu lösen und einen eigenen, friedlichen Mythos zu schaffen.

What can be seen here is a photo documentation of the large installation "The Myth" which was exhibited in the Westfälisches Landesmuseum Münster. The installation reminds the visitor of space ships which are often used by the military. The visitor is asked to mentally take the captain’s seat, to come off the military imagination and to create his/her own peaceful myth.

Il s’agit ici d’une documentation photographique de "Le Mythe", une installation de grande taille présentée au Westfälisches Landesmuseum Münster. Cette installation rappelle les vaisseaux spatiaux souvent utilisés à des fins militaires. L’observateur est convié à prendre, en pensées, la place du capitaine, à se détacher de la vision militaire du monde et à créer son propre mythe pacifique.
