The Dawn

Ein afrikanischer Krieger mit Pfeil und Bogen. Doch bei genauerem Hinsehen entpuppt sich der Pfeil als Pinsel ein hintergründiger Zugang zum Thema, bei dem der Nigerianer Kwubiri in Farbgebung und Stilistik auf afrikanische Traditionen zurückgreift.

An African warrier with bow and arrow. However, a close look reveals that the arrow is actually a paint brush - an enigmatic approach to the topic for which Kwubiri, a Nigerian, falls back on African traditions with his choice of colours and style.

Un guerrier africain avec un arc et une flèche. En y regardant de plus près, la flèche se révèle toutefois être un pinceau : une approche énigmatique du thème, que C. Kwubiri, originaire du Nigéria, exprime dans les traditions africaines pour le choix des couleurs et du style.
