Sleeping Room

Diese Arbeit hat den 1. Preis des Wettbewerbs ConverArt erhalten.

Zu sehen sind ein Video zum Thema Konversion und zum Kunstwerk, einige einbetonierte Waffen und eine Fotodokumentation der großen Installation, die in Münster zu sehen war. Die Idee des Kunstwerkes ist, Waffen symbolisch einzubetonieren und so zur ewigen Ruhe zu betten.

This work of art was awarded first prize of the competition ConverArt.

What can be seen is a video recording on the topic of conversion and on the actual piece of art, some weapons which have been coated with concrete and a photo documentation of the large installation which was exhibited in Münster. The idea of this work of art is to put the weapons symbolically to sleep (in the sleeping room) by covering them with concrete.

Ce travail a été récompensé par le premier prix du concours ConverArt.

Sont présentées ici une vidéo sur le thème de la reconversion et sur l’oeuvre même, des armes coulées dans du béton, ainsi qu’une documentation photographique sur l’installation de grande taille exposée à Münster. L’idée sous-tendant ce travail est celle de couler les armes dans du béton à titre symbolique pour qu’elles s’y taisent à jamais.
